These terms apply to your use of Turn Vacations (turnvacations.com), run by Eamin Hosen. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What this site is
Turn Vacations publishes travel planning guides covering destinations, beach and family trips, packing, budgets, the best times to travel, safety, pet-friendly travel and solo trips. It is a free information resource. It is not a travel agency or tour operator, and you cannot book anything through it directly.
Using our content
You're welcome to read, print and share our articles for personal, non-commercial use, such as sending a packing list to the friends you're travelling with. Sharing a link or a short quote with credit and a link back is fine too.
Without our written permission, you may not:
- Republish full articles or large parts of them elsewhere
- Use our text, photos or graphics in commercial products
- Scrape or copy the site in bulk, including to train automated systems
All content belongs to Eamin Hosen or is used with permission from its owners.
Member accounts and newsletter
Free member accounts and newsletter signups are run through Ghost. You must be at least 16 to create an account. Please give a valid email address and keep sign-in links private. We may close accounts that are used for spam or abuse.
Comments and your conduct
When you comment, please keep it useful and respectful. Real trip experiences and corrections are always welcome. You agree not to post anything that is:
- Unlawful, hateful, harassing or threatening
- Spam, advertising or unrelated links
- Someone else's personal information, such as booking references or addresses
- Copied from somewhere else without permission
You keep ownership of your comments, but you give us permission to display them on the site. We may edit, hide or remove any comment, and suspend any account, at our discretion.
Bookings and third-party services
Any flight, hotel, tour, rental, insurance policy or product you buy after following a link from our site is a contract between you and that provider. Its own terms, prices, cancellation rules and customer service apply. We are not a party to that booking and are not responsible for the provider's service, changes, cancellations or refunds.

Some links earn us a commission if you book or buy, at no extra cost to you. Our Disclaimer explains how this works.
External links
We link to tourism boards, government advisories, airlines, hotels and other sites we find helpful. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.
No warranties
We work hard to keep our guides accurate and current, but travel details change often. The site and its content are provided "as is", with no guarantee that any information is complete, current or error-free, or that the site will always be available.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Eamin Hosen is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from relying on its content. That includes missed flights, refused entry, booking problems, lost belongings, extra costs or injury. Always check key details with official sources and your providers before you travel. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnity
If you break these terms, for example by posting unlawful content, and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that result.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after an update, you accept the new terms.
