This is Turn Vacations, a brand new site by Eamin Hosen. Welcome to Turn Vacations. I started this site because planning a trip should feel like part of the fun. Too often it's twenty open tabs, conflicting advice and a nagging worry that you've missed something important.

I've spent years planning trips of every kind: long beach weeks, family holidays with kids who wake at 5 a.m., quick solo escapes, budget weekends and road trips with a dog in the back seat.

Along the way, I've learned that the details make or break a trip. When is shoulder season really worth it? Which beach has calm water for little swimmers? Does that hotel actually welcome pets, or just tolerate them? What do you wish you'd packed on day two?
